Legends Hotel Mauritius
The Legends Hotel is a five star hotel since November 2007 and is situated in the North of Mauritius close to Grand Bay which has been the first region to be impacted by the tourism revolution on the island. The North of the island can be said to have the one of the best lagoons of Mauritius and the Legends can be said to benefit a lot from this.
The particularity of the Legends however is that it is based around the ancient Chinese philosophy of the Feng Shui which stressed that people should be in harmony with the environment. The Feng Shui philosophy emphasized the five elements which is Water, Wood, Earth, Fire and Metal. This is reflected in the color and the decoration in general of the Legends hotel to make sure that everyone feels good.
As accommodation the Legends provides rooms and suites that are built around a certain element. The standard rooms are built around the metal element while the deluxe rooms are built around the water element. The junior suites are based on the wood element while the senior suites are created around the earth element.
All the rooms have their own terrace or balcony that is all facing the seas and air conditioning that ensure that there will be great living conditions inside.
The Legends Hotel has 5 restaurants that provide Asian, Meditteranean and Creole cuisine that will satisfy the taste of the entire guest. The Ginko is the main restaurant and specializes in Mauritian, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine and has a seating capacity of 250.
As leisure activities, the Legends provide two swimming pools that overlook the magnificent bay in the North. There is also a whole variety of water sports that people can practice while staying at the legends namely windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks and sailings. There are also tennis, mountain bikes and beach volley activities that can be practiced at the Legends.
As relaxation there are also tai-Chi courses and Yoga courses that are given at the Hotel and will sure help make people feel Zen. There also a SPA that will provide massage and hydrotherapy facilities for visitors.
